Beyond the MetroABQ: Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is my favorite non-human charity.

I love the drive to the sanctuary, through western NM mesas, canyons & forested mountainscapes to Candy Kitchen, NM. The wolves live as free as possible, considering they would not make it on their own. It's a wonderful day trip & now overnighting it is an option.
