Las Vegas, New Mexico, is a quirky town with unique scenes around every turn. I like quirky.
Above is Temperance the Lion Fountain, installed in 1896 to provide water to the folks of Las Vegas, as a substitute for liquor.
I love the kneeling street lamp bases, with animal feet seen on Douglas Ave, below.
Below that is a cool stand-alone commercial space on the first floor with at least one apartment above. The dormer windows on the side seem to float above the sidewalk...
