Vista del Norte Park

On a map, Vista del Norte Park is one of the larger greenspaces in the NE Heights. For a city park--coming in at 16.6 acres--that's a place that will be utilized nicely...& it is: on a Saturday there are hundreds of kids & adults broken up into teams on different fields, having a soccer tournament. Earlier in the week, on a Wednesday, folks were taking advantage of the notorious April (& May) Winds to fly kites of all makes, sizes & shapes. Of course more than a few balloons land there during Balloon Fiesta & all other times of the year. The Vista del Norte community--with it's this-century-built single-family homes & comfortably adjoining townhomes--also enjoys it large park focal point...more reasons to love the MetroABQ.
